o Kim Jong-il inspected the Eunheung Cooperative Farm in Pyeonganbuk-do (KCNA report on November 1). North Korea announced, “We completed reprocessing of over 8,000 spent fuel rods and produced a remarkable outcome in their weaponization" (KCNA report on November 3).
[Outside North Korea]
o North Korea urged that a bilateral dialogue between North Korea and the US be held (KCNA report on November 3) and asserted that the new administration in Japan should change its attitude toward North Korea (KCNA report on November 5).
[Inter-Korean Issues]
o North Korea denounced South Korea’s Hoguk Exercise as a ‘military provocation’ (KCNA report on November 4).
