Internal Affairs
- Kim Jong-Il’s public activities during the second week of November - During the second of November, North Korean media have reported Kim Jong-Il’s public activity once.
- Emphasis on leading role during 100-day struggle – The North has reported that leaders should take the lead in 100-day struggle and become active in their efforts. (Rodong Sinmun.)
Inter-Korean Affairs
- Announcement of Daechung naval clash– With regard to Daechung naval clash on Nov 10, the North put a finger on South Korea for the clash and many North Korean media, including Supreme Command of the Korean People’s Assembly, Notice, and Rodong Sinmun. They defined the incident is a provocative action.
Foreign Affairs
- Expression of North’s intention to build its own light water reactor - The North has reported that it has been preparing to build a light water reactor to enhance electricity power. It is reported by Chosun Shinbo on Nov 14. That is a part of efforts to strengthen their own nuclear power industry.
