Long Journey for Happiness of People

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- The news of field guidance ceaselessly being provided by General Secretary Kim Jong Il for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people greatly encourages the Korean people in their 100-day campaign.
He has visited lots of units including the Taedonggang Food stuff Factory, the Pyongyang Catfish Farm, the Central Tree Nursery, the Ostrich Farm, the North Hwanghae Provincial Art Theatre and the Suphung Power Station in more than one month since the start of the campaign.
Wherever he went, he asked first whether people liked buildings and goods and learned in detail about how helpful they were to their living.
It is his firm resolution and aim to provide the Korean people with the best living conditions suited to a great, prosperous and powerful nation.
The Pothonggang Shop which supplies various kinds of fresh fruits and meat and quality processed meat to citizens, the newly built recreation ground in Mt. Myohyang, new apartment houses in Mansudae Street and other monumental edifices in the Songun era are associated with the warm loving care of Kim Jong Il.
He finds his happiness and joy in those enjoyed by the people and regards it as his immense honor and pride to work for the sake of the people. Happier laughter can be heard from every corner of the country thanks to his noble view on them and patriotic devotion.
He is making endless journeys with boundless loving care and devotion, always saying the slogan "We serve the people!" fully reflects the unshakable will and determination of the Workers' Party of Korea to provide happiness to the people, giving primary consideration to their interests.
The Korean people extend warmest gratitude to Kim Jong Il for having worked heart and soul for accomplishing this great cause day and night and renew their determination to build a thriving socialist nation in this land without fail under his guidance.
