Its members sent to the coal and mining industries and railway transportation have opened up a bright vista in placing railway administration and commanding on a more scientific basis while sharply boosting output of coal and nonferrous metal ores.
By their devoted efforts, the technical reconstruction of production processes of many industrial establishments throughout the country such as the Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory, the Tanchon Magnesia Factory and the Ryongbuk Foodstuff Factory has been successfully carried out and a solid scientific and technical foundation has been laid for the satisfactory production of goods badly needed for the development of the national economy and the people's living.
Those active in the agricultural field are expanding the results of technical innovation. They have made researches into crop growing methods favorable for mechanization and set up an orderly irrigation and drainage system.
