Kim Jong Il's Works Disseminated

   Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Seminars on works of General Secretary Kim Jong Il were held in South Africa and Uganda on September 5 on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the DPRK.
    Displayed at the venues of the seminars were famous works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and photos showing their revolutionary activities and introducing validity of the Songun politics and invincibility of Korean-style socialism.
    Eddie Kekana, chairman of the Group for the Study of the Progressive Ideas of South Africa, said at a seminar on Kim Jong Il's work "Songun Revolutionary Line Is a Great Revolutionary Line of Our Era and an Ever-Victorious Banner for Our Revolution" that the Songun idea founded by Kim Il Sung is the basis and the starting point of the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il.
    The chairman stressed that the Songun politics is the best way for defending the sovereignty of the DPRK and the destiny of the Korean nation under the present situation in which different countries' sovereignty is being mercilessly violated by strong-arm policy of the imperialists and that it is the most perfect political mode all the countries and nations should follow.
    John Nayoga Mukasa, head of the Juche Idea Study Group of the Department of Teacher Education and Expansion of the Kyambogo University, Kampala, Uganda, and Auma-Okumu, head of the Juche Idea Study Group of the Department of Psychology of the university, at a joint seminar on the work "Our Socialism Centred on the Masses Shall Not Perish" explained in a profound way about the fact that Korean socialism has displayed its great vitality and advantages as peculiar socialism centered on the popular masses, the embodiment of the great Juche idea, and as invincible socialism in which the leader, the party and the masses are united as one in mind.
    Meanwhile, a reading session on the above-said work was held by the Secretariat of the Pan-African Movement.
