Homage to Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Senior party, army and state officials, a chairperson of friendly party, leading officials of party, armed forces organs and working people's organizations visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on September 9 to pay homage to President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the DPRK.
They entered the hall where the statue of the President stands.
Placed before the statue of Kim Il Sung was a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
The senior party, army and state officials paid profound tribute to the President in humble reverence.
They made deep bows to the President who built on this land socialist Korea in which the idea of believing in the people as in Heaven is embodied and laid a firm foundation for the eternal prosperity of the country and the nation.
