Kim Jong Il Inspects Company of KPA Unit

Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected a company of KPA Unit 669 honored with the title of O Jung Hup-led 7th regiment.
After acquainting himself with the company's performance of duty, he dropped in at the military lecture room to learn about how combat training is conducted at the company.
He praised the company for preparing its soldiers as a-match-for-a hundred fighters possessed of a high level of military technique and combat capability by successfully building the military lecture room and organizing effective training.
Then he paid deep attention to the service and living of the soldiers, making the rounds of an education room, a bedroom, a mess hall, a kitchen, a non-staple food store, a barn and other places.
After learning about how the company conducts its political work, he underscored the need for it to conduct a variety of ideological education in an appealing, plain and amusing manner to suit the characteristics of the young soldiers, including an oratorical meeting, a gathering for giving impressions of the books read and a meeting for congratulating exemplary soldiers. He taught ways to do so.
He highly appreciated the successes made by the soldiers of the company, pleased to learn that they are leading a life full of revolutionary and militant spirit after successfully sprucing up their revolutionary post.
He had a photograph taken with the servicemen of the company.
He was accompanied by KPA Generals Hyon Chol Hae and Ri Myong Su.
