"Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works" Vol. 74 Off Press

   Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- "Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works" Vol. 74 was brought out by the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House.
    Contained in the book are 47 works such as speeches, concluding addresses and talks made by President Kim Il Sung from August to December, Juche 70 (1981).
    It consummates the original ideas, theories and policies set forth by him to effect a great upswing in socialist construction, the reunification of the country and the cause of global independence on the basis of his profound insight into the requirements of the developing revolution.
    His works "The Working Class Should Become the Pivotal Force in the Struggle to Model the Whole Society on the Juche Idea", "Our Youth Should Be Dependable Heirs to the Revolutionary Cause of Juche" and others indicate tasks and ways to further intensify the work of working people's organizations as required by the new historical stage where the modeling of the whole society on the Juche idea has become a general task of the Korean revolution.
    His works "Talk to the President of the Republic of Togo", "For the Development of Agriculture in African Countries", "Let Us Uphold Independence" and others clarify principled issues arising in achieving the reunification of the country and accomplishing the cause of global independence.
    In his works the President underscored the need for all Koreans to firmly unite to frustrate the moves of the U.S. imperialists to keep the country divided as "two Koreas," materialize the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and build reunified Korea into an independent and neutral country.
    The works indicate the ways of accomplishing the cause of global independence such as the issues of meeting the need for the non-aligned countries and other developing countries to consolidate political independence and build independent national economy and tasks facing all countries to intensify the struggle to defend independence in order to prevent a new world war and ensure global peace.
    The book also contains works giving comprehensive answers to the questions arising in the revolution and construction such as the issues of successfully turning the Grand People's Study House into a centre for the intellectualization of the whole society and developing the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan into a Juche-oriented organization of overseas Koreans.
