President Kim Il Sung Remembered by School Youth and Children

   Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting of school youth and children "The Sun's Care" was held at the Central Youth Hall on Friday on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
    The meeting began with narrative poem and chorus "It Is Our Strong Desire to See the Leader."
    Kang Kyong Suk who is daughter of Kang Myong Gun, anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, in her speech at the meeting said that after embarking on the road of revolution in his early years the President gave origin to the Juche-oriented youth movement and prepared young people of broad sections as reliable revolutionaries, starting the first journey for the Songun revolution.
    Lecturer of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum Kim Ki U and Director of Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School Ju Sun Ok, addressing the meeting, recalled that the peerlessly great man aroused the young people to turn out in the battles to devotedly defend the country and showed loving care and trust for them to carry forward the fighting spirit of the revolutionary forerunners, adding that many young people in their teens and twenties performed heroic feats in the Fatherland Liberation War and the children of the fallen revolutionaries grew up to be successors to the Songun cause.
    Those who had the honor of being received by the President including Choe Yong Ok and her three sisters took the floor after chorus "Baton of Revolution" was presented by students of the revolutionary school. They said in an excited tone that they would never forget the kind-hearted President who devoted his all to the happiness and future of the rising generation all his life.
    Female chorus "We Have Nothing to Desire More in the World" and chorus "Generalissimo Is Our Sun" were put on the stage when the theatre was pervaded with praises of the President.
    O Kwang Thaek, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ku Ok Sun, section chief of the Kum Song Youth Publishing House, Ryu Sung Nam, instructor of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, recollected with deep emotion the days when they rendered their services for the building of a rich and powerful country under the care of the great teacher.
    Ri Yong Chol, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, said that thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Il who is identical to the President the history of the President is given steady continuity on this land. He declared that all the young people would remain faithful to the party's Songun leadership and demonstrate their wisdom and courage in the worthwhile struggle to build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation.
    Present there were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the youth league and school youth and children in Pyongyang.
