Kim Jong Il Inspects Company of KPA

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected a company under the direct control of KPA Unit 493.
He acquainted himself with the company's performance of duty before watching soldiers in training in the combined training hall.
He set forth the tasks to be fulfilled by the company to increase its combat capability, expressing satisfaction over the fact that all the soldiers are growing to be all-round soldiers capable of undertaking any difficult and complicated combat duty.
Then he took care of the soldiers' living with paternal love, going round an educational room, a bedroom, a mess hall, a daily provision store, a wash-cum-bath house, an outdoor resting place, a barn and other places of the company.
The shining successes made by the company, a model in all aspects including its management and politico-ideological education, are the precious fruition of its soldiers' intense loyalty to the party and the revolution, he said, adding that world startling great miracles are being reported from different parts of the country thanks to this revolutionary fighting spirit and way of life of the KPA, successor to the brilliant traditions of the anti-Japanese guerrilla army.
Noting that it is very important to strengthen the company, a main combat unit of the KPA, he stressed the need to make sustained great efforts for solidly building up the company.
He enjoyed an art performance given by the soldiers of the company.
