U.S. Military Exercises under Fire

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and south Korean warmongers conducted Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises across south Korea, which were evidently a test nuclear war, a preliminary war for preemptive strike on the DPRK, in view of its scale and nature.
Rodong Sinmun says this in a signed article on Thursday.
It is the U.S. policy of stifling the DPRK and its main military strategy to invade and dominate the DPRK by means of provoking a war on the Korean Peninsula and mounting a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK, the article points out, citing data to expose the gravity and dangerous nature of the recent joint military exercises.
Noting that the peninsula is publicly recognized as the most acute area of military confrontation and the most dangerous hotbed of nuclear war in the world, it says:
The United States has talked about the reduction of its armed forces in different areas of the world. But it has been systematically reinforcing its military forces in the Asian-Pacific region surrounding the Korean Peninsula in a bid to provoke a new Korean war.
Modernly armed U.S. forces, including nuclear-powered carriers, have been massively deployed in south Korea and Japan and other vicinities of the peninsula, and the war exercises against the DPRK staged frequently.
The U.S. made it a fait accompli to provoke a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula and has sped up the preparations for it. This was motivated by its scheme to invade the DPRK with south Korea as a springboard and, furthermore, conquer the Asian continent and the rest of the world.
The U.S. war-thirsty forces seek to occupy the DPRK at a stretch with huge modern armed forces, including nukes, in case they unleash a war of aggression on it.
The reality hints that a nuclear war may be ignited on the Korean Peninsula at any time by the U.S.
The U.S. warmongers should not act on impulse, clearly mindful that any nuclear threat does not work on the DPRK possessed of the strong war deterrent.
