U.S. Reckless Arms Buildup under Fire

Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- The director of the Missile Defense Agency of the U.S. Defense Department blustered some days ago that the U.S. moves to set up the missile defense system (MD) are aimed at coping with the "threat from such rogue states as north Korea."
Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a signed commentary carried in this regard observes that his outbursts were prompted by the U.S. sinister plan to bolster the preemptive attack forces of the U.S. troops in and around the Korean Peninsula and thus provoke the second Korean war.
Recalling that the U.S. bellicose forces have amassed sophisticated military hardware and war means in and around the peninsula, the commentary goes on:
It is in pursuance of the above-said plan that the department has recently deployed mobile missile chasing equipment for the first time in Japan, raising a hue and cry over "missile threat" from the DPRK.
Timed to coincide with this move, the department transferred KC-135 and four B-2s to the Anderson U.S. air-force base in Guam from its mainland and it began deploying F-16s of improved version in its air-force bases in south Korea.
The U.S. bellicose forces are asserting that these military moves are aimed at countering the DPRK's moves to bolster its missile forces.
This is, however, nothing but sheer sophism intended to justify their arms build-up escalated to start a war under the non-existent "missile threat" from the DPRK. In escalating their campaigns to isolate and pressurize the DPRK, the U.S. bellicose forces seek to take a physical option against it if their gangster-like demand lurking behind their loudmouthed "peace" and "dialogue" does not work on it. But such U.S. double-dealing tactics can never go down with the DPRK.
The U.S. frantic moves to establish the MD are creating a dangerous situation in and around the Korean Peninsula where the military equilibrium may be upset and a new arms race may rage.
The U.S. would be well advised to see through the seriousness and danger of the present situation and stop at once its reckless and adventurous moves for a war against the DPRK.
