Internal Affairs
- Pyongyang Broadcasting Services reported on September 20 that workers of Kangdong Hydropower Station Construction Complex and members of Youth Shock Brigade in Hwanghae buk-do are promoting completing construction of Youth Power Station No.1.
- Korean Central News Agency reported on September 20 that the 35 th Plenary Meeting of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League was held in Hamhung on September 20.
- Chairman Kim Jong Il watched the performance by the Russian Moiseyev State Academy folk dance troupe, reported the Central Broadcasting Station on September 23.
- North Korean Central Television relayed the resumed Arirang Performance in which Syrian delegation attended. It confirmed that the Arirang Performance will continue.
- Korean Central News Agency reported on September 24 that North Korea was damaged by a heavy rain caused by the Typhoon 12.
- North Korean delegation attended the general assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization held in Switzerland from September 24 to October 3.
- The Central Broadcasting Station reported on September 25 that Chairman Kim Jong Il inspected the stock-breeding center of KPA Unit 757.
- On the occasion of Chuseok on September 25, North Korea emphasized the excellence of folk tradition and introduced folk food and game.
- The delegation of the North Korean Academy of Science attended Northeast Asia High-tech and Products Exposition in Shenyang , China from September 20 to 22, reported the Central Broadcasting Station on September 26.
- According to reports by the Central Broadcasting Station on September 27, North Korea is obtaining good results in producing steel in several plants.
Inter-Korean Affairs
- National Reunification Institute criticized the Grand National Party for taking negative position on 2007 South-North Korean Summit, reported the Central Broadcasting Station on September 28.
Foreign Affairs
- North Korea agreed to have diplomatic relations with Swaziland , the Dominican Republic , and Guatemala .
- The delegation of the Syrian ruling party, the Baath Arab Socialist Party, visited North Korea from September 20 to 27 and consulted about promoting the two nations’ cooperative relations.
- Through Chosun Sinbo on September 27, North Korea urged the U.S. to get rid of its obsolete position of being hostile to its counterpart so that the six-party talks can proceed substantially.
