Rodong Sinmun Debunks Doctrine of "Maritime Defense Line"

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The doctrine of securing "a maritime defense line" advocated by Abe is essentially aimed at forming a new military bloc of Asian version and, for this purpose, he talked about the establishment of "Asian" partnership, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Tuesday.
The author of the article further says:
Hidden behind this doctrine is the heinous intention of the Japanese reactionaries to gratify their ambition of reinvasion by grabbing the control on marine routes first of all.
Without air and marine routes, the Japanese "Self-Defense Forces" cannot take even a single step outside Japan nor can they launch any military operation against other countries.
While touring Asian countries, Abe sought to create favorable conditions for seizing the control of marine routes, the key to the realization of the reinvasion design, under the pretext of securing "a maritime defense line".
The Japanese reactionaries are craftily trying to grab the control on the region facing the Pacific and Indian Oceans which is of military and strategic importance on the plea of combating "terrorism on the sea" and "ensuring the safe sailing of ships".
Lurking behind Abe's doctrine is the sinister scheme of Japan to stage a large-scale military operation single-handed in disregard of the present constitution banning a war.
The main point in realizing Japanese militarists' reinvasion design may be said to be a naval operation beginning with the massive move and deployment of armed forces through the sea. To this end, Abe spun out the sugar-coated mishmash during his recent Asian junket that Japan would boost economic "aid" and "investment" in Asian countries and endeavor to achieve "co-prosperity". In this way, Japan is seeking to lull the alert of the countries in the region and lay a foothold for launching an aggressive military operation by sending the "SDF" to the sea of the region.
This is why Japan has gone on a rampage by zealously taking part in multi-national joint military drills staged in the Pacific in recent years.
Hidden behind Abe's doctrine of securing "a maritime defense line" is Japan's Machiavellian intention to get harsher in economic domination and plunder in Asian countries.
The Japanese reactionaries think that Japan would be able to gratify its ambition of economic domination over the Asian countries, not to speak of securing a sphere of naval operation for the "SDF", only if Japan seized the control of the vast sea linking the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Herein lies the purpose sought by Abe when he advocated establishment of "Asian" partnership for securing "a maritime defense line" during his Asian junket.
