Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- Our officials should regard loyalty to the Workers' Party of Korea and the leader as their lifeblood, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in a signed article dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's work "Let's Become Officials Intensely Loyal to the Party and the Leader".
The work, published on August 20, Juche 66 (1977), underscores the need for the officials to work hard to live up to the deep political trust of the Party and the leader with loyalty, correctly analyze, judge and deal with all the issues from the viewpoint of the Party and the working class and acquire revolutionary method of work and popular style of work, etc.
Noting that a great turn has taken place in the ideological and mental traits of officials, the core force of the WPK, over the last three decades since the publication of the work, the article goes on:
The present stirring reality, in which the country is speeding up the general march for building an economic power on the basis of shining victories and successes made in the Songun revolution, requires all officials to work just as the officials did in the period of laying down the foundation for carrying forward the cause of Juche in the 1970s.
They were characterized by their intense loyalty to their leader, ardent enthusiasm and high zeal with which they unconditionally implemented the Party's policies to the letter under any circumstances, the unwavering fidelity to the party principle and the spirit of waging an uncompromising struggle.
The Party is showing great expectations and trust in the officials today when a dynamic general march is under way to build an economic power.
The article calls on all officials to creditably fulfil their noble mission and duty as officials of the revolution steering the on-going worthwhile struggle.
