U.S. Accused of Contemplating Saber-Rattling against DPRK

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- The United States has posed a serious military threat to the DPRK since it amassed offensive forces around it. It is self-evident that the latter can not approach the former's move with good faith.
Minju Joson Friday observes this, commenting on the fact that the U.S. is contemplating joint naval maneuvers involving multinational forces, timed to coincide with the deployment of a huge carrier task force in the Pacific, and planning to conduct a drill of "intercepting missiles of north Korea" in collusion with Japan.
    The news analyst goes on:
The U.S. military moves in the Asia-Pacific region are targeted against the DPRK in the long run. The U.S. should refrain from any act of getting on the nerves of the DPRK, a dialogue partner, if the long pent-up distrust and hostility are to be wiped out and the groundwork of reconciliation and cooperation is to be laid.
The U.S. has never discarded its sinister intention to stab delegates of the DPRK on their backs though the former sits at the negotiating table with the latter. The DPRK can not but conclude that it is the real intention of the U.S. not to miss the chance to stifle it by force of arms.
