Senior Officials Pay Homage to Kim Il Sung

   Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Senior party, army and state officials, the chairman of a friendly party, Cabinet members and leading officials of party, armed forces and power organs, public organizations, ministries and national institutions visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace Sunday to pay homage to President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of his 95th birth anniversary.
    Amidst the solemn playing of "Song of General Kim Il Sung" a floral basket was laid before his statue in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
    The participants paid high tribute to his statue.
    They entered the hall where he lies in state and paid homage to him in humble reverence.
    They went round orders, medals and certificates of honorary titles awarded to him in the DPRK and different countries. They also looked round the portrait of the smiling President and bronze relievos in the Mourning Hall, a train coach and a car he used.
    Anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, officials of institutions at different levels, servicepersons and people of all strata visited the memorial palace on the same day.
    The diplomatic corps and the military attaches' corps here, the delegation of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, the delegation of the Workers' Party of Mexico, the delegation of the Russian International Charity Fund "Protectors of Arts for the Century", the director general and the secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, the delegations of organizations for the study of the Juche idea from different countries and foreign guests, overseas compatriots including the delegation of Koreans in Japan, families of those related to the anti-Japanese Revolutionary struggle in China and families of the Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Sunday to pay homage to the President.
