Kim Yong Il Elected Premier of DPRK Cabinet

Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Il was elected premier of the DPRK Cabinet at the 5th Session of the 11th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.
Born on May 2, Juche 33(1944), he served in the Korean People's Army for nine years from Juche 50(1961) and then graduated from the University of Marine Transport to obtain the qualification of navigation officer.
After spending three years as a three-revolution team member, he worked as instructor and deputy director of a general bureau of the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport for 14 years.
He was minister of Land and Marine Transport from Juche 83(1994) till he was elected premier of the Cabinet.
