Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- Flying corps of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces have recently started full-scale war exercises targeted against the DPRK after being transferred to their air force bases in south Korea from their overseas bases, according to military sources.
Dozens of F-117 Stealth fighter bombers and formations of F-15 fighter bombers were busy with navigation drills and exercises of striking at ground targets in the sky above the areas of North and South Chungchong, Kyonggi and Kangwon provinces of south Korea on Feb. 23.
On Feb. 21 E-3 conducted a drill of commanding the flying corps engaged in the exercises of striking at ground targets and navigation drills.
On Feb. 15 and 16 F-117 Stealth fighter bombers staged night navigation and terrain familiarization drills.
In the meantime, KC-135 was busy with in-flight refueling of war planes everyday as the war maneuvers of the newly deployed flying corps entered a full-scale phase.
The above-said madcap aerial war exercises staged by the U.S. imperialists in the wake of transfer of a wing of F-117 Stealth fighter bombers and its support personnel to their air force bases in south Korea from their mainland are dangerous military provocations to the DPRK and a clear expression of their intention to stifle it by force of arms.
