Outside North Korea
The Central Broadcasting Station contended (Nov. 28), “The so-called human rights issue of North Korea that the U.S. is clamoring about is a false accusation fabricated to destroy and collapse the DPRK. It is an excuse concocted by those who are fearful of the superior and invincible power of North Korea’s socialist system that centers on the popular mass.”
Quoting a Rodong Shinmun article, the North Korean Central News Agency stated (Dec. 2), “The members of Jochongyeon (a pro-North Korean residents’ association in Japan) and the Korean compatriots in Japan outraged by the oppressive behavior of the Japanese reactionaries are staging a powerful struggle across Japan.” It emphasized, “The more the Japanese reactionaries cling to political oppression and persecution, the deeper the North Korean people’s animosity and resentment toward Japan will become, and the consequences will become much more severe.”
Inter-Korean Issues
The North Korean Central News Agency propagandized (Nov. 29), “The organizations and the people of South Korea launching a struggle against the U.S. must reinforce their collective alliance to obstruct and crush maneuvers by the US imperialists provoking a new war and disrupting the implementation of the June 15 Joint Declaration. They must forcefully stage a patriotic struggle to drive out the US imperialistic and aggressive forces from South Korea.”
The Central Broadcasting Station contended (Dec. 3), “This game of concluding a Free Trade Agreement between South Korea and the US is a sinful affair that has combined the United States’ aggressive seeking of a way out from its chronic economic crisis by infiltrating targets with little economic power, and the submissive treachery of South Korean authorities who seek survival through sycophancy.”
