Military Attaches Corps Visits Panmunjom

   Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- The military attaches corps in Pyongyang visited Panmunjom on Dec. 19 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army. The guests saw the monument bearing autography of President Kim Il Sung showing his immortal exploits in the noble cause of national reunification.
    They were briefed on the brilliant victory the army and the people of the DPRK won by smashing the armed invasion of the imperialist allied forces in the Fatherland Liberation War under the wise leadership of the President before making a round of the meeting room of armistice talks, the hall where the armistice agreement was signed and the former meeting room of the Military Armistice Commission.
    Yang Xilian, military attache of the Chinese embassy who is doyen of the corps, wrote in the visitor's book that the Korean Peninsula would surely be reunified in the near future.
    Igor Pablov, military attache of the Russian embassy, wrote in the visitor's book that he believed the U.S. forces would be withdrawn from the Korean Peninsula and Korea be reunified at an early date.
    Earlier, the members of the corps drove to the post of Mt. Taedok and went round different places before conversing with soldiers there.
