Internal Affairs

• The Central Broadcasting Station reported on November 27 that Chairman Kim Jeong-il saw a concert by the National Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by several executive members of Korea Workers Party and commanders of the Korean People’s Army.

• The Central Broadcasting Station reported on November 25 that Malaysian delegation of the Ministry of Scientific and Technical Innovation led by Deputy Secretary General Alihan Bin Abdul Hamid visited North Korea and signed the 1 st Protocol of 「 North Korea-Malaysia Joint Committee on Scientific Technology Cooperation 」 on November 24, 2006.

• According to the report by the Korean Central News Agency on November 27, the North Korean Ministry of Agriculture was intensifying the preventive measures against the Avian Influenza.

• North Korea held the reporting session commemorating the 60 th founding anniversary of the Chosun Christianity in Pyongyang on November 28, reported the Korean Central News Agency and Pyongyang Broadcasting Services on November 28.

• The Central Broadcasting Station reported on November 28 that North Korea got excellent results at the 4 th World Women’s Boxing Championship, held in New Delhi, India, from November 18 to 23.

• Pyongyang Broadcasting Services reported on November 28 that North Korea held the reporting session commemorating the 30 th founding anniversary of the 『 Eunyul Revolutionary Museum 』 in Hwanghae-namdo on November 28.

• Chairman Kim Jeong-il inspected the Unit1324 and the Unit1174, reported the Central Broadcasting Station on November 30.

Inter-Korean Affairs

• The spokesperson of the Korean Students Committee announced a statement to condemn conservative groups for intervening in the students’ association election, reported the Korean Central News Agency on November 26.

Foreign Affairs

• The Pyongyang Broadcasting Services reported on November 28 that members of the European Parliament including Glyn Ford visited Pyongyang on November 25 and left on November 28.
