  Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- Songun politics is the most powerful mode of politics in the 21st century, which is recognized by the whole world, and the Korean nation is a proud nation living in the great motherland of Songun, declares Rodong Sinmun Monday. Noting that the self-respect of the Korean nation which has reached the highest phase in national history is a proud result of the invincible might of the Songun politics of the Workers' Party of Korea, the author of the article goes on:
    The Songun politics is the source of the growth of the Korean nation into a powerful one possessed of matchless war deterrent that can smash any aggressive force at one blow.
    The Korean nation is living as a dignified one which no formidable enemy dare provoke. This is because the DPRK has a mighty war deterrent which has been built by the Songun politics. The Songun politics of the WPK has brought up the Korean People's Army into a strong army in idea and faith and a matchless and ever-victorious powerful army possessed both of modern means of attack and defence.
    The invincible arms of Songun give confidence and courage, sweeping away the filth of flunkeyism and national nihilism remaining within the nation.
    The self-defensive defense capabilities of the DPRK serve as a powerful fortress of national defence and it has grown so mighty that even the U.S. imperialists boasting of the world's "strongest" military power dare not provoke it.
    The Songun politics has ushered in the June 15 era of reunification in which the idea of "By our nation itself" is prevailing in the north and the south of Korea extending three thousand ri and is powerfully pushing forward its advance.
    The arms of Songun representing patriotic will and indomitable spirit have made the Koreans hold high the banner of "By our nation itself" with national self-respect and confidence in the future.
    No force on earth can vanquish the Korean nation which is fighting with pluck fearing nothing in the world and high national self-respect, conscious of its might.
