India-NKorea-Minister
Expressing concern at North Korea's nuclear test, Minister of State for Defence Production Rao Inderjit Singh today said it was possible there was an understanding between that country and Pakistan in conducting the blast.
Countries like North Korea and Pakistan could "not be trusted", he told a meet-the-press programme in Chandigarh.
"The Korean nation earlier signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, but later retracted from it. On the other hand, India has never given its nuclear technology to any other country", he said.
India' nuclear tests in 1998 could not be equated with those of other South Asian countries because of their track record.
"North Korea has not lived upto their international commitments", he said.
