   Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The 58th founding anniversary of the DPRK was significantly celebrated on Saturday. The fourth national agricultural workers' contest in dancing to peasant music was held in the Rungrado Recreation Ground in Pyongyang. It was strong in national flavor.
    A dancing party of members of the Korean Democratic Women's Union was held in the plaza of the Tower of the Juche Idea.
    Art performances were given at theatres in the capital and local areas.
    The revolutionary drama "Blood at an International Conference" was performed by artistes of the State Theatrical Company at the State Theatrical Theatre, a performance "May Country Prosper" by artistes of the Mansudae Art Troupe at the Ponghwa Art Theatre and a performance by artistes of the State National Art Troupe at the Central Youth Hall. Concerts were staged by artistes of the State Symphony Orchestra and the brass band of the Yun I Sang Music Institute at the Moranbong Theatre and the Yun I Sang Concert Hall.
    Acrobatic performances were given at the Pyongyang Circus Theatre and the Circus Theatre of the Korean People's Army.
    Provincial art troupes also presented their performances to delight working people and youths and students in North Phyongan Province, Ryanggang Province, Kangwon Province and other provinces marking the national day.
    People from all walks of life across the country spent the holiday with diverse cultural and sports events.
    Merry singing and laughter of working people and school youth and children were heard all day long from the cultural and recreation grounds in Pyongyang which have been spruced up such as the holy place of revolution Mangyongdae, Moran Hill and the Rungrado Recreation Ground.
    An art performance of workers and trade union members of provincial level institutions was given in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province, and art performances of members of women's union organizations in Ryanggang Province and South Phyongan Province took place in Hyesan and Phyongsong respectively.
    Agricultural workers in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province, had a football match, a volleyball match, a contest in dancing to peasant music and so on.
