Kim Jong Il Inspects KPA Unit

Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) - General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected a sub-unit of KPA Unit 715 after crossing steep mountains. He acquainted himself with the sub-unit's performance of duty. After watching the training of its servicepersons, he expressed satisfaction over the fact that the sub-unit has fully prepared all of them through a dynamic struggle to thoroughly implement the WPK's policy of training.
After hearing a story about the feats performed by Hero Sok Pong Gon produced by the sub-unit, he recalled that the KPA servicepersons readily dedicated their youth and lives to the motherland during the Fatherland Liberation War. He called upon all the servicepersons to become heroes in the new century by learning from the noble revolutionary spirit displayed by the revolutionary forerunners.
Going round entertainment and educational and supply service facilities, he acquainted himself with the service and living of the soldiers and praised the sub-unit for having conducted political and ideological work among them in a unique manner. He appreciated the sub-unit for its achievements made in the past, noting that Hero Sok Pong Gon Company and all other servicepersons of the sub-unit are not only exemplarily performing their combat duty but managing the sub-unit well.
He gave the servicepersons of the sub-unit a pair of binoculars and an automatic rifle as gifts and had a photo session with them.
He was accompanied by KPA Generals Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae and Pak Jae Gyong.
