Kim Jong Il Inspects KPA Navy Unit

Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected KPA Navy Unit 401. Conducted by the commander of the unit, he went round the room devoted to the unit's history.
Going round training rooms and entertainment and educational facilities, he learned about how the unit is implementing its training programme and how it is conducting the political and ideological education among servicepersons.
He was satisfied with the fact that the unit has steadily raised the level of its combat technique and increased its combat capability through the intensified training with main stress put on fully ensuring scientific accuracy and efficiency in the training and prepared all the servicepersons as a-match-for-a hundred fighters firmly armed with the revolutionary idea of the WPK by energetically conducting the political and ideological work.
He paid deep attention to the living of the seamen, looking round supply service facilities.
He gave the servicepersons of the unit a pair of binoculars and an automatic rifle as gifts before having a photo session with them.
He was accompanied by KPA Generals Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae and Pak Jae Gyong.
