U.S. Scheme to Dominate World by Preemptive Nuclear Attack Assailed

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The U.S. rulers have never let a chance pass by without blowing hot and cold on "peace" and "arms cut". But their major policy remains to gratify their ambition for world supremacy. Rodong Sinmun says this in an article Tuesday.
This is clearly evidenced by their full-fledged preparations for a preemptive nuclear attack, the author of the article says, and goes on:
The U.S. possesses more than 20,000 nuclear weapons.
It is putting spurs to the modernization of nuclear weapons while openly pursuing the policy of nuclear blackmailing in defiance of the provisions of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and its commitment to international law, thus augmenting the danger of a nuclear war.
Wedded body and soul to aggression and war, the U.S. imperialists seek to militarize even the space and convert it into a theater of war.
The danger of a new Cold War and arms race is growing due to their reckless moves to launch a space war.
Drawing particular attention in their moves for a preemptive nuclear attack is the drive to establish the Missile Defence System (MD).
What they seek in this is to enlarge the aggressive military blocs and put fresh muscles into them.
The point is their intention to establish the system under the pretext of "threats" from the DPRK and Iran. This is a cynical ploy to align the East European countries against the DPRK and Iran with a psychological impact on them by spreading absolutely false information.
The U.S. imperialists' preemptive nuclear attack is primarily targeted against the DPRK. They are escalating their moves to provoke a nuclear war against the DPRK behind the curtain of "peace" and "dialogue." Their drive to modernize nuclear weapons, militarize the space and establish the MD is aimed to beef up nuclear arms and start a nuclear war and intensify nuclear threat and blackmailing.
