Rich Experience in Building Revolutionary Party

   Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea has set a good example in building a revolutionary party through its protracted history full of ordeals. President Kim Il Sung delivered the lecture "The Historical Experience of Building the Workers' Party of Korea" on May 31, Juche 75 (1986), on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the foundation of Kim Il Sung Higher Party School.
    He, in the work, analyzes and reviews in a comprehensive way the priceless achievements and rich experience gained in the process of building the Juche-oriented revolutionary Party, a new type of party of the working class. And he expounds the feature, character and mission of the WPK and the fundamental theory and basic principles of the Party-building.
    The work gives invaluable guidelines that should be taken in strengthening the working-class Party as the guide of socialist society. They include the importance and essence of the Party's leadership over the revolution and construction, issues of principle arising in the Party's leadership, and the essence and contents of the Party's leadership art and all the issues of principle arising in establishing its leadership.
    The ideas and theories advanced in the work have served as a powerful weapon for having developed the WPK over the past two decades.
    Under the guidance of leader Kim Jong Il, the WPK has been firmly strengthened as Kim Il Sung's party, Juche-oriented revolutionary one, and held fast to the independent, working-class and socialist principles in the revolution and construction under grim and arduous historical circumstances.
    The WPK, therefore, has displayed its might as an invincible one without any slightest deviation in the revolutionary principles and errors in its lines.
    For the revolutionary principles of the WPK and the consistency in its lines and policies, the Korean revolution has triumphantly advanced along the one road of socialism and the people-centered Korean-style socialism has deeply rooted in the minds of the people as an unswerving faith.
    The WPK is lauded by the world progressives as the mother party which has achieved the single-minded unity of the leader, the Party and the popular masses.
