U.S. Scheme to Revive "Multi-National Forces" Flayed

   Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- The army and the people of the DPRK will destroy aggressors to the last man with their matchless self-defensive deterrent built up under Songun politics and wreak bitter grudges on the U.S. imperialists, if these warmongers dared start another Korean War, captive to war hysteria, declares a Rodong Sinmun analyst Monday. Recalling that the United States recently, through the "UN Command," brought together officers on the active list, civilian experts and others of 13 satellite states which participated in the past Korean War, upwards of 200 all told, and discussed "a plan for the operation of special units" in the event of "contingency on the Korean Peninsula," he goes on:
    The confab was a patent proof that the criminal scheme of the U.S. to revive the "UN Command" which exists in name only and, under its cloak, drag in "multi-national forces" to start the second Korean War has reached a grave practical stage.
    The confab revealed the extremely dangerous aggressive design to enlarge the "UN Command" under the control of the U.S. forces into "a substantive organization of multi-national allied forces", justify the U.S. forces' presence in south Korea and, furthermore, hurl troops of these countries again into the Korean Peninsula" in the event of "contingency".
    The south Korean people under U.S. occupation should heighten vigilance against the U.S. imperialists' highly dangerous' moves to impose nuclear disaster upon the Korean nation and turn out in a nation-wide struggle for the dissolution of the "UN Command" and withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea.
