Kim Yong Nam Meets Syrian Government Economic Delegation

   Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a friendly talk with the Syrian government economic delegation led by Minister of Economy and Commerce Amer Hosni Lutfi at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Monday. On the occasion the head of the delegation said that during his visit he deeply felt that Korea is a very beautiful country and the Korean people are strong in independence and nationality.
    He stressed that he would make positive efforts to strengthen economic cooperation and exchange between Syria and the DPRK in conformity with the intention of the top leaders of the two countries.
    On hand were DPRK Minister of Foreign Trade Rim Kyong Man and officials concerned and Syrian Charge d'Affaires ad Interim in Pyongyang Muhammad Adib Al Hani.
