RS Calls for Intensifying Solidarity among Koreans at Home and Abroad
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)
Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- In order to push ahead with the cause of reunification which is advancing in the idea of "By our nation itself" it is imperative to intensify solidarity and unity among patriotic forces of reunification at home and abroad. Rodong Sinmun Saturday says this in a signed article.
It goes on:
To strengthen solidarity among Koreans in the north and the south and overseas is the way of accomplishing the cause of independent reunification of the nation and strengthening of the three-party solidarity is a firm guarantee for remarkably enhancing the might and role of the national patriotic forces of reunification. When reunification movement organizations at home and abroad intensify solidarity, united close for one common objective of national reunification, the might and role of the nation itself will be further strengthened and the cause of independent reunification will advance with confidence.
The might of the three-party solidarity has been clearly proved through the practical movement for reunification.
To intensify solidarity and unity among reunification movement organizations and reunification champions is all the more urgent at the present time when the anti-reunification moves of separatists at home and abroad are becoming heinous. The frantic war exercises and confrontation rackets of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean ultra-right conservative forces against the north are the main factor of aggravating the situation of the Korean Peninsula and a grave obstacle to peaceful reunification of the country.
There is no need to have any illusion about the U.S. imperialists and the "Grand National Party" and other pro-American treacherous forces of south Korea. It is the requirement of the times and history to achieve national reunification at an early date with powerful three-party solidarity and unity of Koreans in the north and the south and overseas.
