Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)
Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson Sunday in an editorial dedicated to May Day, an international holiday of the working class all over the world, stresses the need to glory the proud tradition of the Korean working class which has been boundlessly loyal to the cause of the Workers' Party of Korea and the leaders. The Korean working class has successfully fulfilled its mission and duty as an advanced unit of revolution in defending and victoriously advancing the Korean revolution, once arduous and rigorous, the socialist cause of Juche, the editorial says, and goes on:
The revolutionary spirit and indomitable stamina of the working class fully displayed in the sacred struggle for prosperity of the country and happiness of the people are shining long in the history of the party and the country.
It was thanks to the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il that the Korean working class could greatly contribute to the triumphant advance of the Korean-style socialist cause even under the complicated situation at home and abroad and in manifold difficulties and ordeals.
The ideological and moral traits and working style of the Korean working class are now on a new higher stage to meet the requirements of the Songun era. It is the pride of the Songun era to have a great contingent of the revolutionary working class which regards it as highest honor and pride to uphold the cause of the leader and devotedly serves the people.
All the workers should remain faithful to the revolutionary Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il with their firm revolutionary determination and steadfast will to become Songun revolutionary comrades who share idea and will with him and take the lead in bringing about a great turn for prosperity of socialism.
