"Among the People" Vol. 67 Published

Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out the collection of reminiscences "Among the People" Vol. 67. Carried in the book are 19 items of reminiscences illustrating immortal revolutionary exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung for the country and the people and his noble popular traits.
The reminiscences "The Biggest Wish of the Leader" recount that the President earnestly told the officials and the people to devote their all to the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of Kim Jong Il, saying it was his biggest wish that they upheld Kim Jong Il with loyal hearts. The reminiscences "Defence of the Country Is Most Ardent Patriotism" give an impressive account of the warm care shown by the President for a woman soldier standing guard at the post of national defence in the uniform of the revolutionary army as her father did and the reminiscences "Immortal Traces in Kalsan" recount the traces of leadership left by him for strengthening the civilian defence forces. Included in the reminiscences are "'Holidays' of the Leader" and "Grand Nature-Remaking Project Initiated at the Age of 70" which cites historical facts that the President devoted even his holidays to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people in the days of building a new country and energetically guided grand nature-remaking.
The reminiscences "Even in a Souvenir" deals with the President's noble love for the country manifested in his efforts to widely publicize the brilliant culture and history of the Korean nation, while the reminiscences "Paternal Love Reaches the Foot of Mt. Paektu", "If It Is for the People" and "Legend of Love Recounted in Iap" give emotional accounts of the immortal history of leadership of the President for the improvement of the standard of people's living.
The reminiscences "Teaching Farming Method", "Traces of Leadership in Ryongchon-ri" and "Scientific Farming Method Taught by the President" say the President visited farms on his way of on-site guidance to learn how crops were doing and teach officials scientific farming method, thus guiding them to strictly apply the Juche-oriented farming method.
Also contained in the book are reminiscences recalling the President saw to it that Juche character was established in capital construction and led the officials of a county took care of the people's living in a responsible manner, showed deep concern for the growth of a woman party official, devoted the New Year's Day to bereaved children of fallen revolutionaries with deepest care and heard simple dreams of schoolchildren and wished them a happy future.
