    Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- A national oratorical meeting of university students took place at Kim Il Sung University on Monday on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. Students of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education and other universities said in excited tone that President Kim Il Sung showed loving care and benevolence for the university students from the day he climbed Ryongnam Hill and chose the site for the first university in new liberated Korea to the last moments of his great life. Thanks to Kim Jong Il the glorious revolutionary history of the President is given steady continuity on this land, they added.
    The participants expressed firm conviction that thanks to Kim Jong Il, an illustrious commander born in Mt. Paektu, the dream and hope of the young people will always come true along with the blue sky above Korea of the sun.
    Present at the oratorical meeting were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Kyong Ho, first secretary of the C.C., the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, officials concerned and students of universities and colleges in Pyongyang.
    A performance titled "Working class sings of the leader" was given by the art squad of workers of the C.C., the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, at the Central Workers Hall Monday on the same occasion.
    The performers sang high praises of the undying revolutionary feats Kim Il Sung performed by building the powerful socialist state, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, in Korea and providing the Korean workers and other people with an independent and creative life.
