Dangerous War Gamble Blasted

Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- RSOI and Foal Eagle joint military exercises are to be staged in south Korea from March 25 to 31, involving the U.S. forces present in south Korea and south Korean troops and over 3,000 U.S. troops from its mainland and overseas bases. Minju Joson today says in a commentary in this regard:
The above-said war exercises are a dangerous war gamble to invade the DPRK as they may go over to an actual war any moment.
The war maneuvers will involve Abraham Lincoln, one of the leading nuclear-powered carriers of the U.S. Navy, in particular. This indicates that they are neither an "annual defensive drill" nor a demonstration of force, but a test nuclear war, a preliminary war, to make a preemptive attack on the DPRK.
The exercises fully reveal the U.S. dark intention to totally scrap the joint statement adopted at the six-way talks.
The above-said large-scale war maneuvers targeted against the DPRK are fraught with the serious danger of bringing a nuclear holocaust to all the Koreans in the north and the south. It is, therefore, an unpardonable treacherous act to support the U.S. war scheme.
The south Korean authorities should make a decision to stop the exercises with outsiders, though belatedly, if they truly value the inter-Korean joint declaration and want security, reconciliation, cooperation and reunification of the nation. If the U.S. dares ignite a nuclear war in this land, the army and people of the DPRK will give vent to their pent-up hatred toward the U.S. and mobilize its tremendous deterrent for self-defence built up so far under the banner of Songun politics and thus wipe out the aggressors to the last man.
