    Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has continued field guidance from the beginning of the year. He visited a number of industrial establishments and units of the Korean People's Army across the country from a machine building plant in the northwestern area of the country to a KPA Unit on the front in the south and from a saltern on the east coast to a ship repair factory on the west coast. Kim Jong Il provided on-the-spot guidance to units and sub-units of the KPA including a women's company once every three days in April and various months and to many units once every two days in some months including November when he visited Duck Farm No.115 built by servicepersons and factories in Pyongyang.
    His field guidance includes all sectors of the national economy for building a great prosperous powerful nation. Among them are Ryongsong Machine Complex, Miru Plain in North Hwanghae Province, Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, Taean Friendship Glass Factory, Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory, gravity-fed waterway, a saltern, construction sites, a pharmaceutical factory and a theatre.
    During working tour, he met with a lot of people from all walks of life to converse with them and showed warm care of their living conditions. While inspecting units of the KPA, he saw trainings of servicepersons and looked round educational rooms, bedrooms, mess halls, kitchens, wash-cum-bath houses, non-staple food stores, tunnel cool stores, laundries and other cultural and welfare facilities to acquaint himself with military service and life of soldiers and bestow fatherly love on them.
    At industrial establishments and construction sites, he indicated ways for application of latest scientific and technical successes that even scientists and technicians did not conceive and ways to bring earlier the completion of projects while ensuring the highest quality of structures to suit the requirement of the new century.
    He continued his indefatigable inspection tour even on sultry, rainy and snowy days throughout the year. It was the midsummer days when he visited some units and sub-units of the KPA along the front line and the newly built Wonsan Bay Saltern. He did not stop his field guidance even in January, the coldest month of the year, and in December during which coldest weather ever since 1910 continued for over 20 days.
    Finding himself among the people all the year round, he has closely rallied the whole Party, whole army and the entire people as Songun revolutionary comrades with his brilliant leadership ability, lofty moral virtues, and outstanding political ability and aroused them in the general march of Songun revolution. Juche 94 (2005) is shining with brilliant revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il, a political veteran.
