Kim Jong Il Inspects Women's Company of KPA Unit

Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, inspected a women's company of KPA Unit 5833. Kim Jong Il learned about the company's performance of duty and expressed satisfaction over the fact that its soldiers are carrying out their combat duties in a responsible manner, keeping themselves in a strained and mobilized posture, keenly aware that the defence of the country means the most vivid expression of patriotism.
Then he looked round an educational room, a bedroom, a mess hall, a kitchen, a wash-cum-bath house, a non-staple food store and other places. He appreciated the efforts made by the commanding officers of the company, pleased to learn that they have provided the soldiers with good living conditions by successfully building supply service facilities with warm love for them.
The educational room of the company is of weighty significance in the ideological, moral and cultural education of its soldiers and in the cultivation of their emotions and feelings, he said, underscoring the need to keep more revolutionary novels and other educational materials so that all of them may read them regularly.
He had a photo session with the servicepersons of the company.
He was accompanied by Hwang Pyong So, vice department director of the C.C., WPK.
