2nd Video Reunions of Separated Families and Relatives Held

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- The second video reunions of separated families and relatives were held here on Thursday and Friday. When the video reunions started, the families and relatives who have lived separated in the north and the south tried to recall their faces before separation. Upon recognizing each other, they asked how they were and exchanged long pent-up inmost thoughts.
Those from the north were proud to tell their kin from the south about the independent and creative life they have led to the full under the benevolent care of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.
They also told them that not only themselves but their families are devoting all their wisdom and energies to the building of a great prosperous powerful nation under the benevolent socialist system.
Rejoiced at the reunions, they showed photographs of their families and relatives each other and exchanged conversations about their life course.
