    Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- No matter how hard the outside forces may work to check the movement of the Korean nation for independent reunification, they can never stop the Korean nation from advancing in the idea of "By our nation itself", says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article. The might of unity which the Korean nation is cementing in every way is an invincible might guaranteeing a victory in the cause of national reunification, the article says, and goes on:
    National reunification is the unanimous desire of all the fellow countrymen and the law-governing requirement of national development. As long as the outsiders' moves against reunification continue, the Korean nation's cause of reunification can never be smooth. The idea of "By our nation itself" helps the Korean nation aspiring after peace and reunification pool their efforts against the aggressive outsiders and promote its unity on a nation-wide scale and encourages the cause of national reunification with the might of its great unity to advance victoriously. The idea helps members of the nation have feelings of love for the country and the nation.
    The united power of the nation rallied in the idea of "By our nation itself" is the might of the driving force and patriotism which guarantees a victory of independent reunification.
    The historic June 15 joint declaration provided the Korean nation with the idea of "By our nation itself", a powerful ideological and mental weapon for accomplishing the cause of national reunification. All the fellow countrymen at home and abroad have since conducted a vigorous movement for reunification on the basis of the idea of "By our nation itself" and in this process the might of the idea has been fully demonstrated. Though the outsiders are running amuck to obliterate the cause of national reunification, the Korean nation advancing under the banner of "By our nation itself" will always emerge victorious.
