Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition Closes

Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia exhibition celebrating the 60th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea successfully closed. At least 20,000 potted Kimilsungias and Kimjongilias were put on display by armed forces organs, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, the Cabinet Secretariat, the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Metal Industry, the Ministry of Forestry, the Physical Culture and Sports Guidance Commission and other units.
Foreign friends, the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and other overseas Koreans exhibited immortal flowers. During the exhibition senior officials of the Party, the army and the state, members of the Cabinet, delegates to the celebrations of the 60th birthday of the WPK, officials of ministries and national institutions, over 200,000 servicepersons of the KPA, working people and school youth and children looked round the exhibition.
Among the visitors were the Chinese government delegation, the delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba and other foreign friends and overseas Koreans.
A closing ceremony took place at the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition today.
Kang Nung Su, chairman of the Korean Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Committee, in a closing speech called upon all the participants to deepen a scientific study of the cultivation and propagation of immortal flowers so as to bring them into full bloom at home and working places and everywhere. Choe Thae Bok, Jong Ha Chol, Kwak Pom Gi and others were present at the closing ceremony.
