Kim Jong Il Poses for Photograph with Delegates to Celebrations of WPK Anniversary

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, posed for a photograph with the delegates to the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the WPK. He warmly congratulated the delegates who have devoted themselves to the strengthening and development of the WPK and come to the festival with the honor of presenting with loyalty labor achievements and militant feats to the mother party and had a photo session with them.
He expressed the expectation and conviction that they would perform a vanguard role in the revolution and construction in the future, too, as they have single-mindedly covered the road of loyalty under the leadership of the Party and thus successfully carry out the honorable mission and duty as the vanguard fighters of the WPK.
Present there were senior officials of the Party, the army and the state Kim Yong Nam, Jo Myong Rok, Pak Pong Ju, Kim Yong Chun, Kim Il Chol, Jon Pyong Ho, Ri Yong Mu, Choe Thae Bok, Yang Hyong Sop, Choe Yong Rim, Kim Chol Man, Kim Kuk Thae, Kim Ki Nam, Kim Jung Rin, Jong Ha Chol, Hong Song Nam, Hong Sok Hyong and Kim Yong Dae, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party, and Ryu Mi Yong, chairperson of the Central Committee of the Chondoist Chongu Party.
