DPRK's Stand to Seek Negotiated Peaceful Settlement of Nuclear Issue Clarified

    Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government consistently maintains the stand to seek a negotiated peaceful settlement of the nuclear issue and will exert tireless efforts to realize the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, said Premier Pak Pong Ju in a report delivered at the national meeting held at the April 25 House of Culture here Thursday to mark the 57th anniversary of the DPRK. The denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula was one of the last instructions of President Kim Il Sung and it remains an ultimate goal of the DPRK, he said. The DPRK is standing in acute stand-off with imperialist reactionaries, he said, declaring that its army and people will never tolerate the enemies' moves to isolate and stifle it but mercilessly foil them.
