Kim Yong Nam Meets CPC Delegation

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, met and had a friendly talk with a delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by Xi Jinping, member of the Central Committee of the CPC and secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPC, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Sunday. On hand were officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Chinese charge d'affaires a. i. here.
The head of the delegation said that while staying in Korea the delegation has witnessed many successes made by the Korean people in building a great prosperous powerful nation under the leadership of the WPK headed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
The traditional friendly ties between the two parties and countries provided and brought into bloom by the leaders of the elder generation of China and Korea are daily growing stronger under the deep care of the leaders of the new generation in the new century, he noted.
Saying that this year is a significant one for the Korean people as it marks the 60th anniversaries of the WPK and Korea's liberation, he expressed conviction that they would register greater success in the building of socialism of Korean style.
