Rodong Sinmun Praises Commanding Art of Kim Jong Il

    Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- The Korean People's Army has grown in strength and developed into matchless revolutionary armed forces which no formidable enemy dare provoke. This is a precious fruition of the commanding art of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il typified by his energetic field inspection of army units. Rodong Sinmun says this in an article Tuesday.
    The author goes on:
    Kim Jong Il is a great master of leadership who has strengthened and developed the People's Army into ever-victorious ranks by his unique commanding art of field inspection hither-to unknown in history.
    His greatness in this lies, above all, in that he has fortified the overall might of the army.
    He has spent the days of the long journey of Songun leadership in tireless field inspection of units and sub-units of the KPA since the historic day when he sounded the roaring gun report for increasing the military capabilities in the Songun era with his field inspection of the Tabaksol post.
    The invincible might of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK which have grown to be vanguard units and a matchless army devotedly defending the leader is a proud fruition of the commanding art of Kim Jong Il who is leading the People's Army with the field inspection.
    His greatness also lies in that he finds excellent experiences and models and generalizes them in the whole army so that endless innovations may be effected.
    Visiting units and sub-units from one front to another and from a front to the rear, he highly appreciates even a small success and experience in their work and takes detailed measures for the whole army to learn after them.
    Another greatness of Kim Jong Il in strengthening and developing the People's Army with his commanding art of field inspection lies in that he shows deep trust and warm love to the soldiers so that they can display heroic mettle without reserve.
