War Blare of U.S. 7th Fleet Commander under Fire

Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- The commander of the U.S. 7th Fleet shortly ago let loose a blast for invasion of the DPRK, palavering that "in case of emergency and a serious matter in social stability" the combat force of his fleet would be hurled into the DPRK to "restore the order". Rodong Sinmun Wednesday brands his jargon as an intolerable grave act of provocation that openly revealed the intention of the United States to occupy the DPRK by force of arms as it was an undisguised declaration of its military intervention in the Korean Peninsula.
    The news analyst goes on:
A serious view must be taken of this because it was the first time for the Bush group to have been so outspoken in revealing its aggressive design against the DPRK, suggesting the mobilization of its 7th fleet force, since it took office and the remarks of the 7th fleet commander had a thread of connection with the newly drafted "OPLAN 5029-05". His war blast clearly indicates that the U.S. has entered the stage of resorting to strength, discarding even the pretence at "dialogue" and "respect of sovereignty," having been driven into a dilemma, at a loss for words in face of the DPRK's just stand toward the nuclear issue and public opinions at home and abroad sympathetic with and supportive of it.
The "emergency case" cried over by the U.S. is utterly unthinkable in the society of the DPRK where the whole Party, army and people are single-mindedly united. To expect it is no more than a foolish dream.
The wild outburst of the U.S. 7th fleet commander is a military threat to force the DPRK to come to the six-party talks and scrap the nuclear program.
There can be no change in the principled stand of the DPRK toward a solution to the nuclear issue between the DPRK and the U.S. and the iron will and pluck of the army and the people of the DPRK to answer the U.S. military threat and tough policy with a super tough action.
The United States should behave with discretion, well aware that its policy to stifle the DPRK by military force is nothing but an act of self-destruction like jumping into fire with firewood.
