Floral Baskets Laid before Statues of Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung by servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and the people from all walks of life on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the heroic KPA.
His statue on Mansu Hill was visited by servicepersons of the KPA, people of all strata, school youth and children.
Standing before the statue was a floral basket sent by Supreme Commander of the KPA Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.
Amidst the playing of the floral basket-laying music, floral baskets, together with bouquets and flowers were placed before his statue in the name of the Party, military and power bodies, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, KPA units, organizations of science, education, culture and art, public health and the press, factories, enterprises, farms and schools.
Meanwhile, floral baskets were laid before his statues at Kim Il Sung Military University, Kim Il Sung Political University, Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of People's Security, the Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Palace and other units in Pyongyang.
KPA servicepersons, people, school youth and children across the country placed floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the statues of the President in their residential areas.
