U.S. Moves to Deploy New Type Missiles in South Korea Assailed
Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)
Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The U.S. moves to deploy new type missiles in south Korea are part of its criminal preparations for a nuclear war to stifle the DPRK by force of arms and extremely dangerous military provocative acts to escalate the tensions on the Korean Peninsula and lead the situation to the brink of war. The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland said this in an information bulletin released on April 1.
Recalling that the U.S. deployed scores of ultra-modern ground to ground missiles ATACMS Bloc 2 and ATACMS Bloc 1A in the second division of its forces in south Korea, the information bulletin noted that this goes to prove that the anti-DPRK war scenario of the U.S. which has advertised that "north Korea is its next target after Iraq" has reached the phase of its implementation after going beyond the dangerous line.
Now that the U.S. intention to destroy the DPRK by force of arms has become clear, its army and people are left with no other option but to take a stronger measure for self-defence to protect their idea, system and sovereignty, the information bulletin pointed out, and said:
The evermore undisguised U.S. moves to unleash a war in Korea would only compel the DPRK to steadily bolster its nuclear arsenal under the uplifted banner of Songun.
The U.S. loudmouthed "tweezers-like attack", "precision strike" and new type missiles will prove ineffective in face of the DPRK's nuclear deterrent force based on justice and the U.S. aggressors will be doomed to be forlorn wandering spirits.
The U.S. had better know well who its rival is, stop running wild and halt at once its dangerous military build-up and moves for a war.
