Festival Posters Released

Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- The organizing committee of the 23rd April Spring Friendship Art Festival released posters on the festival to be held in Pyongyang in the run-up to the Day of the Sun, an auspicious holiday common to mankind.
A poster portrays a festival logo framed with bouquets and floating confetti and word "Welcome" in its upper part. It represents the Korean people's warm welcome to the foreign artistes coming to the festival to present songs and dances praising the great men.
A poster depicting artistes upholding the festival logo against the background of flying pigeons strikingly manifests independence, peace and friendship, the idea of the festival.
Some posters portray foreign artistes enthusiastically singing songs and playing musical instruments and others depict dancers presenting graceful rhythms and acrobats showcasing diverse skills.
