Youth and Students Vow Their Loyalty

    Samjiyon, February 7 (KCNA) -- A meeting of youth and students from across the country was held in front of the old home of leader Kim Jong Il in the secret camp of Mt. Paektu Monday to vow their loyalty with the approach of his birthday. Present at the meeting were Kim Kyong Ho, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, Pak Se Gol, secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and members of the group of school youth and children from across the country on their study march to the old home of Kim Jong Il.
    Led by Kim Kyong Ho, its participants vowed their loyalty, manifesting their steel-strong faith and will.
    They resolved to more thoroughly establish the revolutionary discipline and order in the youth league whereby its members act as one under the unitary leadership of Kim Jong Il and consolidate as firm as a rock the single-minded unity of all the servicepersons and people, a treasured sword for winning a sure victory in the Korean revolution.
    They noted that they would become ardent followers of the Songun idea of Kim Jong Il and faithful implementers of his Songun politics and actively join the Korean People's Army to be heroes in the 21st century like Ri Su Bok and Kim Kwang Chol who devotedly defend the blue sky and sea and the fertile land of the country.
    They loudly shouted revolutionary slogans, firmly determined to honor their loyal pledge made to Kim Jong Il.
    Then they were briefed on the old home in the secret camp of Mt. Paektu before looking round the historic relics preserved there.
